I spend quite a bit of time with my patients so I think that it’s important we get to know each other a little bit.

I decided to be a dietitian when choosing what to major in while applying to college. I had never heard the term “dietetics” and had limited knowledge of what a dietitian did before clicking it in a drop down of offered majors at the University of Cincinnati. I knew that I wanted to be a life long learner and my favorite thing to learn about at the time (and ever since) is nutrition.

I love everything about nutrition: cooking, grocery shopping, planning meals, trying new restaurants and foods. I understand that not everyone else shares these interests, so I am here to share my knowledge with you and help you find ways to make healthy eating come as easily and naturally as possible.

I grew up in Ohio but moved to Rochester, NY in 2024 with my fiancé, our dog Morty, and our cat Cheese. I love Rochester’s Public Market and being outside, exploring local parks. I also enjoy movies, thrifting, and sewing. I like to stay active as well which includes dog walks, yoga, tennis, strength training, and most recently, snowboarding.

My experience

I have been a registered dietitian for 5 years and tried out a couple different fields before settling on private practice. My career started as a dietitian at Mercy Health in Cincinnati, Ohio. There, I covered a wide variety of inpatient floors, ICU, cancer center, and worked as the lead dietitian of my team. I gained experience working with all kinds of patients and disease-states. My career then shifted to working solely in kidney care. I spent one year working at an in-center hemodialysis center before transitioning to provide nutrition education for patients with kidney disease and related comorbidities. Two years later, I made the move to one-on-one counseling with both Nourish and Berry Street. These platforms allow me to easily accept health insurance to see a wider audience of clients.
